The PERC Library

The PERC maintains the only library in the region dedicated to peace, environment and social justice topics. Our extensive collection includes:

• Books
• Magazines and newsletters (searchable by title/author!)
• Resource Boxes
• Video and audio tapes and CDs
• Online publications
• Peace and Environment News

Browsing and borrowing

Anyone can come in to the Centre (we're on the top floor at 174 First Avenue in the Glebe) to browse, and for a measly $10 annual fee you get to sign things out (exception: volunteers pay naught!).

Borrowing periods are

• books: 4 weeks,
• magazines: 2 weeks,
• latest magazines: 1 weeks,
• resource boxes: 0 weeks (there's space to sit and work at the Centre).

You can also make use of copier for about 15 cents a page (one-sided paper supplied).
